1. Be self-assured, but not obnoxious. Take the initiative to get things done. Don't sit back and wait for the man to do it. Pay the bills. Plan a trip from start to finish including airfare, hotels, driving arrangements and activities. Plan a night out, you pick the restaurant, the time, and maybe even pay for the meal. Make sure you know how to use your computer. If you are not sure, enroll in a class. Men will respect you more if you have a mind and know how to use it. 3. Listen to the small things in life that he likes and try to accommodate. If he likes to eat a bowl of mint chip ice cream while watching TV, then surprise him with a bowl when he is watching TV. If he has a collection of anything, ask if you can look at it and show genuine interest. He will be thrilled that you are taking the time to ask him about something he enjoys. If he likes his back rubbed, surprise him at the end of the day with a back rub that he doesn't have to ask for. These things may seem little, but in his mind they are telling him that you are someone special.
